Sep & Marilyn Hendrickson provide the latest to help you enjoy outdoor experiences.  Whether a destination is local or distant, or on a “bucket list”, fishing for trout, kokanee or saltwater species…or hunting in the field or blind for upland birds or wild game…SEP’S OUTDOORS provides insight into where, when and why to go.

​Joseph “SEP” is a radio show host, writer, author, photographer, tackle innovator, seminar speaker, avid angler and hunter.  He and Marilyn enjoy the outdoors and fish for a lot of   different species.  Sep enjoys upland game birds and challenges of wild boar.  Marilyn brings the camera!  

Sep makes guest appearances and is an informative, instructional source of information.  He is a popular seminar speaker and is often requested to act as emcee.  They are members of Outdoor Writers Association of California and lifetime members of California Inland Fisheries Foundation, Inc. Sep has been inducted into the National Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame and is a member of the California Hall of Fame.

​Sep is host, Marilyn is producer of the award-winning “California Sportsmen” Radio Show on KHTK1140AM Sacramento, Saturdays from 6:00-8:00AM, in its 26th year.  They also produces “Ultimate Bass” Radio Show on KHTK1140AM from 5:00-6:00AM, hosted by Kent Brown.

Sep & Marilyn were innovators and manufacturers of SEP’S Pro Fishing tackle for over 20 years and led the industry in designing and promoting ultra-light tackle and techniques.  Their book “Trolling Truths” covers intricacies of trolling for trout, kokanee and landlocked king salmon.  Tried and true techniques are compiled into this comprehensive book, detailing often overlooked basics that can assist in catching more fish…how-to, as well as why, when and where.  “Trolling Truths" is available at tackle stores or at This email address is being protected from spambots.
